With her personal background together with an eye for perfection, Karina Parajon Guiteau is a well-known and sought-after event planner.
After relocating to New York from San Francisco, Karina began her carrer as an assistant for P Diddy. Immediately she became very close friends with P. Diddy’s event planner; Jessica Rosenbum, a well-known name in the celebrity event world. Karina would soon go to work with her friend and mentor; assisting Jessica to plan big red carpet events such as, P Diddy's White parties in the Hampton’s, the official after parties for the Video Music Awards and the Grammy’s. She also learned a lot about the industry, about precision and perfection and managed to create loyal and trusted relationships with many respected names in the industry.
At the age of 31 it was time to spread out her wings, start her own event company and find her own niche, and so KPG Events was born.
For Karina, planning an event or a wedding is so much more than just another event, it is her way of making someone else’s vision come to life. She sees an event as a portrait. She starts with a blank canvas. Then, with the ideas and fantasies of the clients, she will make the empty canvas into a painting. Karina is all about perfection down to the smallest detail, planning exquisite and magnificent weddings and special events across the country. Having experience with many red carpet events and having worked with an A-list clientele, she knows how to bring luxury and prestige to any event.
